Macaron Fairy Floss GF

Fairy Floss Macarons are beautiful little bites of heaven – loved by Francophile and gourmet hearts alike.

Their shell is unexpectedly delicate whilst their interior is beautifully soft and chewy. They are light and airy on the palate making them the perfect sweet treat – without guilty pangs.

Macarons will add a dash of colour to your sweets cabinet, dessert selection or catering platter.

Did you know the origins of fairy floss/cotton candy trace back centuries, all the way to Renaissance Italy? Back then, chefs melted and spun sugar manually. The process included them pulling the candy into thin strands using forks and draping it over broom handles.

Serving suggestion: Best served either straight from refrigeration; or, if possible… left out at ambient temperature for 5 to 10 minutes before serving to remove the chill and bring out the flavours.
