Macaron Salted Caramel GF

Salted Caramel Macarons are beautiful little bites of heaven – loved by Francophile and gourmet hearts alike.

Their shell is unexpectedly delicate whilst their interior is beautifully soft and chewy. They are light and airy on the palate making them the perfect sweet treat – without guilty pangs.

Macarons will add a dash of colour to your sweets cabinet, dessert selection or catering platter.

Did you know that salted caramel was popularized by French chef Pierre Hermé in the 1990s when he invented a salted caramel macaron? Soon after, American chefs began combining sea salt with a variety of sweets, including caramel and chocolate.

Serving suggestion: Best served either straight from refrigeration; or, if possible… left out at ambient temperature for 5 to 10 minutes before serving to remove the chill and bring out the flavours.
